IT Project Manager for Deloitte

For our customer Deloitte, we are looking for two Technical IT Project Managers. With more than 3000 employees Deloitte is the largest audit and consultancy firm in Denmark. They tailor solutions across Audit, Tax, Financial Advisory Services, Enterprise Risk Services and Consulting.

The Engineering offering of Deloitte Technology & Transformation are on the lookout for additional team-players for their practice of 60+ software engineers, (cloud) architects, cloud strategists, and IT management consultants. The team assists some of the largest companies, agencies, and organizations in Denmark and the Nordics, on the implementation of new IT systems as part of their digital transformation – and you can help build their opportunities and meet their challenges!

Job Description

As a IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex IT projects from the initial concept through to delivery and handover. You will work closely with development teams, architects, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve managing project resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring that technical solutions support the client’s business goals. As an IT Project Manager, you are expected to foster a collaborative team environment and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical parties.

Qualifications

You have a strong background in IT project management with 3+ years of experience in leading technical projects. You should have a solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you bring to the team:

• Proven experience managing software development projects, ideally in an agile or hybrid project or product management framework such as SAFe or Scrum.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of translating technical details to non-technical stakeholders and managing expectations effectively.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
