Accounting Associate, Management Finance

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments? Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you. We are currently looking for a proactive and experienced Accounting Associate to join our Management Finance team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The team

The Management Finance team currently consists of 14 professionals, split into two sub-teams: Accounting and Reporting.

The Accounting team is key to ensuring costs are impacting the proper entities and funds, with great financial insight and effective communication with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

The role

As a part of the accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our management entities, overseeing more than 20 entities. Approval flows, re-invoicing and stakeholder management are a significant focus in our daily operation.

Primary focus is within accounts payable and expense management to manage accurate and efficient processing of invoices, expenses and dimension accounting.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

  • End-to-end bookkeeping (invoice, expense management, re-invoicing)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Weekly reporting
  • Customer- and vendor management
  • Complex VAT treatment
  • Month-end closing

You

We’re searching for a professional with a degree in accounting, finance or another relevant field combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time experience from a similar role, who excels in managing complex projects and is motivated by detailed tasks. This role demands a high level of stakeholder management and the ability to handle complexity and tight deadlines with precision.

Key qualifications include:

  • A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving, with motivation to take ownership of tasks and advance them to completion
  • Skilled user of both Excel and PowerPoint
  • Determined and structured
  • High-level analytical abilities with the capability to review and interpret data critically and efficiently
