Head of Credit & Liquidity Risk

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of the 1st line Risk Management leadership team in Trading & Revenue, leading a team of 4-5 specialists. You’ll be responsible for calculating credit exposure on structured deals, setting and optimizing credit limits, and monitoring that credit risk exposures stay within limits. You will also be in charge of credit assessments of new counterparties, negotiating credit terms and negotiating framework agreements. Further the team maintains broker relationships and perform credit scoring on B2B customer. Additionally, you’ll calculate and monitor collateral risks and liquidity limits, perform stress testing and scenario analysis, and report and handle any breaches in accordance with policy. You’ll also provide expert guidance on credit risk decisions and liquidity management, ensuring the availability of relevant liquidity risk data.

You’ll be leading the newly established 1st line anchored in Risk Management in Trading & Revenue where you, together with your colleagues, will manage and optimize credit and liquidity risks within the overall Trading & Revenue mandates. You’ll play an important role in:

  • Setting and optimizing 1st line credit limits within overall T&R mandates
  • Calculating, monitoring and reporting credit risk exposures, ensuring transparency and compliance with limits
  • Negotiating agreements with new counterparties, maintaining broker relationships, performing credit scoring
  • Calculating and monitoring collateral risks and liquidity limits
  • Providing expert guidance on credit risk decisions and liquidity management.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have People Leadership experience where you have enabled a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere, empowering team members to achieve outstanding results
  • Have extensive experience in credit and liquidity risk management within a trading environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills and can communicate key insights in clear recommendations
  • Have a strong understanding of financial markets, trading venues, products etc., and can work pro-actively with the risk triangle
  • Are a detail-oriented team-player with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Having insights into the renewable industry, such as intermittency and balancing, would be beneficial but are not a prerequisite.
