The position
As an Environmental and Energy Professional you will work in Purification Plants in Kalundborg. Tasks are carried out in a very close collaboration with the area’s Environmental and Energy Partner and Project Managers.

You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks related to external environment and energy, including:

• Ensure compliance with requirements from both national legislation, terms regulated by Environmental permissions as well as Novo Nordisk’s management systems for environment (ISO14001) and energy (ISO50001)
• Actively cooperate, guide and support your colleagues and project managers in the factories with environmental and energy aspects and projects
• Data management i.e. data collection from various sources, data analysis and reporting
• Support environmental and energy targets together with the Environmental and Energy Partner ensuring continuously improvement according to our Novo Nordisk environmental strategy “Circular for Zero”

Across the factories you will meet many different professionals. You can expect a workday with a mixture of both planned and unforeseen tasks that will require you to utilize your organizational and prioritization skills and as well as being agile.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position:

• You hold an academic degree in environmental engineering/management or similar. Or technical background with relevant experience.
• You have at least 1-2 years of experience, and preferably you have worked within external environment in a production area or other relevant field.
• You are enthusiastic, carry a great personal drive and like to work in both the outdoor areas and inside the factories with a broad range of various environmental tasks.
• Full proficiency in English. Danish is an advantage since the national legislation and reporting to authorities is in Danish.
• Experienced user of Excel would be an advantage.

Naturally, you have an analytical approach, preferably skilled in excel and can keep an overview. You have strong stakeholder management skills as you will work with many different employee groups including a close cooperation with Novo Nordisk corporate environmental department. You can work both independently and in close cooperation with others.
