We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant or Manager to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of core insurance systems.
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Consultant or Manager to play the Solution Architect role with at least 5 years of relevant experience in core insurance systems implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and customizing core insurance package solutions to meet business needs, with a deep understanding of solution underlying technologies and architecture.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on system architecture, integration, and implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technical Design: Develop detailed technical designs that describe expected system behavior. Ensure that documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with business needs.
- Solution Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize core insurance systems to meet the functional and technical requirements. Ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals and operational needs.
- Testing and Validation: Contribute to the definition and documentation of testing scenarios for execution. Work closely with testing teams to ensure comprehensive coverage and validation of system functionality.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core insurance systems implementations, acting as a Solution Architect.
- Proven track record in configuring and customizing solutions to meet business needs.
- Strong technical expertise in system architecture, integration, and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in identifying and documenting testing scenarios for execution.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience exercising the role in the context of market-relevant core insurance solutions (e.g., Sapiens, Tia, Guidewire, IBA, Duck Creek).
- Preferred Technical Skills: Software Engineering with back-end development with Java and/ or.net and/ or JavaScript/NodeJS (related frameworks).
- Must be proficient in English. Additionally, proficiency in a Nordic language is preferred.
- Must have residency in an EU country and a valid work permit.
