This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of energy trading, green fuels, and cross-functional business strategy—directly contributing to Maersk’s Energy Transition agenda.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the MEM financial performance management framework across MPR, budget, ROFO, and business planning cycles.
- Set and track trading performance targets—challenging assumptions and aligning stakeholders on clear, ambitious goals.
- Optimize planning for secondary costs and SG&A within MEM and Energy Transition functions.
- Support strategic decision-making with robust financial modelling and insights.
- Enhance financial data foundations by collaborating with platform teams to improve accuracy, scalability, and governance.
- Own the financial lifecycle of EU Allowances (EUAs), including demand forecasting, sourcing, settlement, and P&L recovery.
- Facilitate green fuel volume and cost allocations across MEM and Ocean, aligning with both value protection and sustainability goals.
- Maintain MEM transfer pricing documentation and manage internal revenue and cost allocations.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in energy trading, performance management, and financial processes.
- Strong financial modelling skills to support business insights and strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of shipping fuels—both fossil and green—and their commercial impact.
- Familiarity with Maersk Ocean financial structures and internal reporting.
Who You Are
- You drive results with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You influence without formal authority and build trusted partnerships.
- You collaborate across functions and thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
