ALK Global Procurement is in a transformation process to enhance our scope and reach in order to ensure short-term and long-term increases in value, underpinning our new strategy Allergy+. ALK Global Procurement manages direct and indirect procurement globally across locations in Europe, North America, and China.
To support this transformation process, we are looking for a Procurement Professional to lead and develop the efforts within the fields of global marketing and commercial at ALK.

Your Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the strategic procurement journey at ALK. We expect you to play an active role in procurement with the indirect procurement team, acting as a close strategic ally for the business.

As Senior Category Manager – Marketing, you work independently and in collaboration with stakeholders within ALK and beyond. You are close to decision-making processes and, therefore, able to contribute significantly to ALK’s future success. You will report to the Director of Global Indirect, CxO, and Large Projects Procurement.

Your tasks:

• Development and management of forecast data models as well as effective presentations of the company performance, deriving and proposing appropriate recommendations for stakeholders at different levels
• Analysis of relevant data (market data, insurance data, CRM data) to identify (health policy) trends; evaluation of commercial projects and marketing activities and submitting recommendations for action to promote growth
• Continuous improvement of reporting tools and procedures (e.g. KPI tracking, forecasts, patient models and their visualization)
• Conception and development of business cases, in close collaboration with our teams Global Business Development and Global Marketing, especially in the area of commercial excellence

Your Skills:

• Your qualifications include proven procurement experience in a similar role in an international company. You have strong skills in making and executing category strategies, and you can demonstrate your experience in negotiating contracts and in procuring marketing services globally.
• You preferably have a master’s degree in business, supply chain or similar.
• You have good communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving changes. You have strong analytical competence as well as motivation; furthermore, you are proactive and like to take the initiative.
