Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases.
We are hiring experienced colleagues within Clean Utility Support to join the investment project.
The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, Novo Nordisk hub for API manufacturing.

The Position
As Clean Utility Supporter for Purified Water systems, you will join a manufacturing facility construction project. The main design principle will be to implement the best design standards from other existing facilities.
Your main focus will be on participating in the establishment of a competent user organization, integration with engineering partners and cooperation with existing production areas. Some of the tasks will be choosing suppliers and performing ongoing follow-up with these from start to finish, performing structural checks of the constructions, following up and keeping track of changes. When the time comes, you might need to assess any project risks and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.
In this role you can look forward to travelling to visit suppliers.
The main tasks will be to:
• Write/review specifications.
• Review designs and develop of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Install equipment.
• Perform commissioning and qualification.
• Ensure and perform maintenance training.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• A master’s degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology or similar field.
• An interest in and experience with clean water systems such as Potable, Purified and Process Water systems.
• An understanding of technical documents such as URS, SAT, FAT and validation protocols, as well as complicated product documentation preferred.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.

About the Department
API Project Utility is a team of Engineers with responsibility for Clean and Black Utility in a manufacturing facility construction project. Currently consists of 21 engineers and 3 Project Managers who are working closely with other disciplines in the construction project.
