Senior Global Demand Planner

Are you experienced with demand planning methodologies, sales forecasting, and inventory management? Do you have advanced Excel skills, and can you utilize them to provide data-driven recommendations?
The position
As Senior Global Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in processing and evaluating demand plans, in line with our worldwide sales expectations and balanced with our financial targets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our commercial team, supply chain and finance to optimize demand planning and drive efficiencies in our supply chain.

You will become part of the Global Supply Chain Management team – a small team, located at our headquarter in Hørsholm, that amongst others specializes in E2E capacity planning, supporting partner markets, product launches and CMO management. As part of the job, some travel activity should be expected.

Your key responsibilities:

• Process and evaluate global demand forecasts based on historical sales, market trends, and commercial insights.
• Collaborate with regional demand planners, sales, and marketing teams to align on key product forecasts and ensure accurate market demand predictions.
• Monitor and analyze demand variations to identify and address supply chain risks or opportunities.
• Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to review demand forecasts.
• Work closely with supply planners to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply plans.
• Utilize demand planning tools to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize inventory levels and reduce the risk of excess stock or stockouts.
• Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for global demand planning processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare regular demand reports and metrics for senior management, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.

Your profile
We expect that you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, or related functions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in global demand planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of demand planning methodologies, sales forecasting, and inventory management in a global supply chain environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with integrated business planning tools will be an advantage.
