About the Role:
We are seeking a Legal and Compliance Manager to join ALK. This is a key role in a dynamic, human-sized pharmaceutical company where you'll act as the central legal and compliance reference. Reporting to the General Director and Regulatory Affairs Director, you’ll support teams across the business and ensure adherence to legal, data protection, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company-wide compliance policies and training (Sapin II).
- Monitor and enforce adherence to internal standards and external regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory training for staff.
- Oversee GDPR and local data protection law compliance (LIL2).
- Serve as point of contact for data subjects and liaise with the Data Protection Officer.
- Conduct impact analyses, update documentation, and maintain the data protection register.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with partners, clients, and suppliers.
- Ensure legal compliance in contract law, competition law, and data protection.
- Support management with legal advice and risk mitigation.
- Manage disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when required.
- Monitor legislation changes and ensure internal policy updates.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Health Law, Business Law, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in legal/compliance roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in contract law, data protection (GDPR), and compliance programs.
- Experience with clinical trial regulation and CRO contracts is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and advisory skills.
- Organized, autonomous, and excellent communicator.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
