Director, Clinical Project Management

Are you a robust, people-first, clinical development executive? Ready to take on the leadership of the global clinical project management area, dedicated to the management, coordination, and accomplishment of effective, successful, and impactful global clinical trials?
The ideal candidate for the role will bring relevant leadership experience and professional competencies within trial- and clinical project management, but also you carry a sincere desire to drive and bring forward clinical projects, which ultimately improves quality of life for the millions of people suffering from allergies all over the world.

The position
As Director, Clinical Project Management you become member of the Global Clinical Development organisations and your responsibility will be the leadership and coordination of our global clinical trials. Moreover, the role will take a seat on the Clinical Operations Strategy Leadership Team – including Clinical Compliance, Clinical Systems & Applications, Clinical Trial Supplies as well as Clinical Project Management. You will report to Vice President Martin Rud Pedersen and take part in setting the strategic direction of Global Clinical Development at ALK.

Your profile
You are a dedicated leader with a clear drive, motivation, and aspiration for developing/building a clinical project management organisation, which is ready for delivering new innovative life-improving solutions for patients affected by allergy. You bring relevant leadership experience and professional competencies within trial- and clinical project management, but also:

• A natural science degree, supplemented with management training.
• Extensive experience with clinical development in a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology company and/or a contract research organisation.
• Leadership experience covering strategy setting, influencing, and communicating.
• Managerial experience preferably from leading people from across geographies.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
