Therefore, we are looking for a Test Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As our new Test Manager, you will be responsible for the test operations group in the Space System department in Terma Space. You will coordinate the work of the test operations group, keeping and improving the high level of quality needed in the space industry while meeting strict deadlines.
You will lead a team focused on the successful execution of extensive test campaigns of our space products. Our Space Systems is a pioneer in the Danish space industry and has been developing advanced space hardware solutions for more than 50 years. We provide mission critical hardware products for both scientific and commercial satellites meeting the highest quality standards. We are located in Lystrup and Søborg Denmark, where 45-55 employees work with the development and testing of space electronics in a very collaborative and informal environment. The team includes technicians, engineers and physicist in the full range from newly graduated to senior employees.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- People management of the members of the group
- Resource planning
- Planning test campaigns
- Coordinating with the other groups in the organization
- Technical test support within the group
- Improving and strengthening the test approach
- Creating and reviewing documentation
- Participate in the department management as well as customer meetings
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics, Analog Electronics or a similar field of study
- You have minimum 6 years of experience in testing, documenting and working in electronics
- You have experience in a technical management role including experience with people management, resource allocation, coordination and performance reviews
- You have technical experience with the following:
- Electronics production, testing and debugging
- Test automation and test operation
- Electrical schematics capture, development and review
It is preferred, if you have experience with the following tools:
- NI Test Stand
- Microsoft Office suite
- OrCAD Suite including PCB Editor, PSpice
- NI LabVIEW
Experience in the following areas is a plus but bot a requirement:
- Experience with space / High Reliability production
- Any NI certification with LabView or Test Stand
- PCB and layout experience
