The Position
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and executing on collaborative partnerships to enhance our business performance and identify new opportunities for growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage insights and drive innovative initiatives that align with Novo Nordisk's mission. Your expertise will help navigate new therapy areas and market opportunities while building robust stakeholder relationships.
Your Main Accountabilities will be to:
- Identify, develop, implement, and manage commercial strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with affiliate business objectives and monitoring partnership performance.
- Lead and drive business development deals, evaluating emerging technologies and patient solution programs that enhance patient access and adherence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels to influence decision-making and support innovative business solutions.
- Assess new market opportunities by analysing trends and identifying potential for diversification and growth.
Qualifications:
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you need to have Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. Moreover, you need to have 5+ years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing external innovation deals
- Experience in developing and executing on strategic business initiatives and identifying new market opportunities
- Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including trends and challenges facing the industry
- Fluent English is a requirement, and fluent Danish would be highly beneficial
About the department
The Customer Engagement & Commercial Innovation department’s goal is to optimize and innovate our commercial activities, always with the customer and patient at the centre. The team will be tasked with modernizing our commercial model, identifying, developing and managing commercial partnerships and go-to-market activities based on data and insights to support people living with chronic disease.
