Strategic Lead, Sourcing Excellence and Quality – Tietoevry Tech Services (m/f/d)

Now you have an extraordinary chance to join our Sourcing Team in the most exiting journey of building an independent and standalone company. As we are currently demerging from Tietoevry, you will play an incremental role in building up a stand-alone function driving processes development, digitalization, and supplier compliance initiatives for a sustainable value creation and operational excellence within sourcing.

You will join a skilled team of over 20 sourcing and purchasing professionals, collaborating to drive innovation, excellence and continuous learning. You will have sourcing wide responsibilities to drive the agenda for sourcing excellence, supplier compliance and quality.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Sourcing Excellence: Lead the digital transformation to boost user experience and operational efficiency across the company, continually seeking opportunities for simplifications in processes, methods and tools.
• Advance Sourcing Strategy & Capability transformation: Lead the development of sourcing strategy and capability transformation from our external spend and supplier relationships. Establish and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and process indicators (PIs) for sourcing success.
• Maintain a Compliant Supplier Base: Ensure the development and maintenance of a compliant supplier base through structured supplier onboarding and risk management. This includes conducting supplier due diligence (covering aspects like standard requirement, privacy, security, trade sanctions and sustainability requirements) and supplier audits.
• Drive Sourcing management system and reporting: Represent sourcing in internal and external management system audits and contribute to required reporting concerning the company’s supplier base.
• Ensure a Compliant Sourcing process: Drive continuous development and awareness of the companywide source-to-pay policy and process. Foster sustainable and ethical sourcing practices aligned with corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments Secure policies and processes meet necessary external requirements. Monitor process performance across the company and ensure that sufficient controls are implemented not only within sourcing but across the entire company.

Your personality and working style:
To excel in this role, you are an engaging and business minded senior sourcing & operations leader with extensive experience and a proven track record in sourcing, operational development, supplier due diligence & leading with data and analytics.

Further, you are:

• An influencer with a solid business understanding and excellent ability to lead by data: To drive decisions and communicate effectively both with executives and sourcing specialists and a genuine desire and ability to drive transformation and business impact for the whole company.
• Highly analytical & fact-based: You can both see the big picture, identify long term trends and to drill down to drivers for the trends when needed. You use data to drive real business benefits and bring speed to decision making and execution.
• A team player: Who can contribute to teamwork and building networks outside of own direct responsibilities.
• Result oriented project portfolio manager: Being able to identify new opportunities, create impact & effort prioritized implemen­ta­tion roadmaps and secure successful implementation of these initiatives.
• An effective change manager: Creating engagement and involvement of others in transforming capabilities, tools, processes etc.

Your experience & education:

• Several years experience with demonstrated success of sourcing operational development improving user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Several years experience of sourcing functional experience from strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Highly experienced with deep understanding in implementing sourcing sustainability & supplier compliance risk management including professional supplier due diligence and supplier audits.
• Extensive experience with sourcing systems and tools, including Oracle ERP, PowerBI, and Excel.
• Prior experience from working in large, cross-country teams.
• M.Sc from relevant field
• Fully proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
