AI Governance Consultant

At VENZO, we’re looking for a talented AI Governance Consultant who’s passionate about helping organizations navigate a digital world where ethics, compliance, and governance are key to success. You’ll play a pivotal role in building the frameworks and structures for responsible AI use and leading projects that create real value and trust.

You likely have a few years of experience in strategy projects, digital compliance, or AI governance — and you’re driven by connecting technology, ethics, and business outcomes.

Bringing AI Strategy to Life
Your role will be essential in translating our clients’ AI strategies into practice, reducing risks while unlocking the full potential of AI technologies. With your expertise and proactive mindset, you’ll help organisations leverage AI to support their strategic goals while ensuring responsible and ethical implementation.

You’ll advise and guide the integration of AI both tactically, by setting up AI Governance Boards, and operationally through training and building awareness among employees.

You’re comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to technical teams, and you naturally foster dialogue across the organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement AI governance structures that ensure accountability across organisational, procedural, and technical dimensions.
• Engage directly with decision-makers and act as a trusted advisor at executive level.
• Develop policies and frameworks for responsible AI with a focus on ethics, fairness, transparency, and data security.
• Support organizations in complying with regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other international standards.
• Facilitate workshops and lead implementation efforts across teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability to build trust in AI solutions.

What we imagine you bring

• 2–3 years of experience in AI governance, strategic projects, AI development, compliance, or data ethics.
• A solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics – and how to use them responsibly.
• Familiarity with national and international regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business goals, decision-makers, and technology.
• A structured approach to complexity and the ability to bring order to new or evolving contexts.
• Experience from consulting or large organizations where digital responsibility has been a focus area.
• (Bonus:) Experience facilitating workshops and guiding discussions on complex or sensitive topics.
