AQUAPORIN A/S IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PRODUCT MANAGER, INDUSTRIAL REVERSE OSMOSIS , SINGAPORE

Aquaporin is an innovative water technology company leveraging biotechnology to improve the efficiency of water treatment and concentration of various streams. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Commercial Engineering, RO team.

About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Commercial Engineering Reverse Osmosis (CERO) team, focusing on the spiral wound membrane industrial product lines, including Nanofiltration (NF), Brackish Water RO (BWRO), and Seawater RO (SWRO).

The product manager will be the focal point of contact and owner of our spiral wound industrial products, coordinating and bridging activities in product development, engineering, marketing and supporting sales as required. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, strategic vision, and commercial execution in a key industry for Aquaporin, and is adept at managing international relationships, including our contract manufacturing organization (CMO) in China.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Product Vision: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our industrial NF, BWRO, and SWRO products, leveraging deep market intelligence and customer insights.
• Business Case Ownership: Develop compelling business cases with input from sales and customers for new product initiatives and enhancements, ensuring commercial viability and justifying investment.
• Technical Product Definition: Translate market and customer requirements into clear product specifications and quality standards, collaborating closely with our engineering, supply chain, and quality teams and acting as a key liaison with our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in China to ensure seamless product development and production.
• Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead the launch of new RO products, crafting value propositions, and developing sales enablement materials that empower our commercial teams.
• Lifecycle Management & Compliance: Own the full product lifecycle, ensuring product quality, compliance with industry standards, and effective management of product changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in industrial water treatment, membrane technologies, or related complex technical products.
• Strong understanding of industrial Reverse Osmosis (NF, BWRO, SWRO) processes and applications.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into compelling commercial value propositions.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• High-level proficiency in English is a must, both verbal and written. Fluent in Chinese (written and spoken). Proficiency in other APAC languages is considered an asset.

The position is based in Aquaporin’s Singapore office with reference to the Head of Commercial Engineering, RO. The position has no direct reports.
