THE POSITIONAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building modern, high-performing software solutions that directly support and empower our traders. All our work is internal facing, focused on enabling smarter, faster trading decisions through high-quality tooling and automation.

We’re a tight-knit, cross-regional team of six engineers based in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Singapore collaborating closely with product and domain experts to modernize our tech stack and bring innovative ideas to life.

Among your responsibilities are:

• Leading design, implementation, and optimization of backend solutions in .NET, with focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Taking full ownership of tasks from planning and breakdown to delivery and Deployment with Azure DevOps.
• Continuously evaluating and improving architecture, design patterns, and code quality.
• Collaborating with product managers and domain experts to deeply understand the trading domain and identify impactful opportunities.
• Helping with the modernization journey from legacy code (Python, .NET Framework) to modern C# .Net 9 solutions hosted in AKS.
• Working closely with traders and stakeholders to understand workflows and identify high-impact improvements.

To succeed in the job, you need to:

• Have solid experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development in C#/.NET.
• Have proven ability to work independently asking the right questions, seeking clarity and domain knowledge and driving solutions forward.
• Have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Cloud.
• Have a keen architectural mindset and the ability to balance tech decisions with business value.
• Be naturally curious, proactive approach to problem solving.
• Be proactive, curious mindset and a strong motivation to understand complex business domains.
• Be collaborative approach and willingness to support your teammates—across offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Singapore.

Experience with energy trading is a plus, but not a requirement.
