Partner Sales Manager - US (Denver or Salt Lake City)
Umbraco A/S
At Umbraco, we are looking for a results-oriented seller with a proven ability to unlock new opportunities and accelerate revenue in either Denver or Salt Lake City.
Do you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where your work directly drives revenue and market expansion? Are you excited by the idea of scaling partnerships and helping clients succeed with a powerful, open-source CMS platform? If so, we want to meet you.
The Role
As a Partner Sales Manager at Umbraco, you’ll be at the forefront of our expansion in North America (Denver or Salt Lake City). This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the ground up, helping to define the strategy, shape the go-to-market approach, and build key partnerships that will fuel our expansion across North America.
You’ll work at the intersection of business development and partner enablement, building strong relationships with digital agencies, solution partners, and end clients. Through strategic collaboration and trusted guidance, you’ll create long-term value and help set the foundation for Umbraco’s success in this exciting new region.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and close new business opportunities—especially in the enterprise segment.
- Lead a consultative, solution-based sales approach across the full sales cycle.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and support teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
Partner Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key partners and enterprise clients across the U.S.
- Support partners in leveraging the Umbraco platform to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and co-selling opportunities.
- Guide new partners through onboarding and ensure ongoing engagement through tools, training, and resources.
Operations & Performance
- Maintain accurate CRM records and use data to inform and improve sales strategies.
- Own your pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Track and report on KPIs tied to growth, partner success, and revenue impact.
What We’re Looking For
At Umbraco, we hire people, not just résumés. The most important qualification is your personality: Who you are, your values and attitudes, and your eagerness to learn. Besides your awesome personality, we are seeking a driven and collaborative sales professional with a blend of commercial insight, technical curiosity, and people-first thinking.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years in sales, account management, or partner development (preferably in B2B software, CMS, or digital services)
- Proven experience managing partnerships and driving new revenue opportunities
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Comfortable with technical conversations and solution-based selling
- Exceptional communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills
- Based in the U.S. and able to travel occasionally
Nice to have
- Experience working with digital agencies or CMS/SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with open-source software business models
