Senior Project Manager with solid, hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing

Location: Copenhagen
On behalf of our client – a highly respected international consultancy with strong Nordic roots – we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a critical life science project. This is a 12-month consultancy assignment, with strong potential for extension and the possibility of a permanent position after a few years.

You will play a key role in leading GMP-regulated projects – from early design stages and facility establishment to technically demanding pilot plant remodels. Your work will ensure compliance, coordination, and high-quality execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities include:

• Liaison between the customer and internal design team
• Overall project management (time, budget, scope, quality)
• Coordination between engineering, QA, production, and external suppliers
• Ensuring GMP compliance and complete project documentation
• Development and quality assurance of process equipment and utility solutions
• Supporting CQV strategies and validation handovers
• Preparing for the construction and commissioning phases
• Providing professional support to customers throughout all project phases

Your profile:

• 5+ years of project management experience in GMP manufacturing
• Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing and applicable regulations
• Practical experience with process equipment, facilities, and utility systems
• Familiarity with CQV processes and engineering-validation interfaces
• Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and complex technical projects
• Clear and effective communicator with both specialists and decision makers
