Security Operations Engineer

What you’ll do here

• Threat Detection & Response
  Configure AWS and supporting security services to catch threats before they become problems. Be the first line of defense that keeps our systems bulletproof.

• Infrastructure Hardening
  Build security guardrails, such as secure cloud networking and baseline AWS configurations, that keep systems safe without reducing development speed.

• Vulnerability Management
  Track and prioritize vulnerabilities, then collaborate with teams to deliver fixes that matter—without slowing down feature delivery.

• Security Intelligence
  Transform raw cloud log data into actionable security insights that drive real decisions. Experience with professional SIEM systems is highly valued.

• Smart Access Control
  Implement AWS identity governance, striking the right balance between least privilege and user productivity.

• Resilience Engineering
  Automate backups, strengthen recovery processes, and ensure our infrastructure can weather any storm.

What we're looking for
You don't need to check every box—if you have AWS experience, care deeply about security, and want to grow into a specialized role, let's talk.

Core Skills:

• Hands-on experience managing AWS accounts with a focus on defensive security.

• Experience in AWS vulnerability management and patching.

• Experience with AWS identity and access control.

• Comfort working with AWS logs and monitoring systems.

• Genuine curiosity and problem-solving drive.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with SIEM tools valued.

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Experience with incident response and/or compliance frameworks.

• AWS security certifications are highly desirable.
