Experienced Software Developer for 3D scan application

3Shape develops and manufactures market-leading 3D scanners and software solutions for dentistry and audiology. The intraoral scanner TRIOS is our flagship and is already changing how people around the world receive dental treatment and examinations today, by digitalizing and disrupting multiple traditional dental workflows. It replaces physical impressions of patient teeth with highly accurate, high-resolution 3D scans and workflows. This provides patients worldwide with improved treatment, while giving dentists a wider range of treatment options, increasing efficiency, and allowing our customers to treat more patients.

We are looking for an experienced developer for our TRIOS Scanning Software team.

What You Will Do
You’ll join a team of skilled developers working from Copenhagen, Kyiv, and Skopje. This team also includes a Test Manager, a Release Manager, testers, UI Automation Test Engineers, User Experience Designers, and a CICD group. The team is responsible for the core 3D scanning workflows, including the tools and functions that interact with the 3D scans, as well as manipulating and analyzing them. Based on your experience, you will play a key role in enhancing our TRIOS Scanning Application together with the team. Besides the colleagues on the team, you’ll have close collaboration with other software teams as well as the hardware team developing the intraoral scanners.

Your responsibilities:

• Investigate: Help get new features off to a great start by working closely with User Experience Designers and product managers to define the solution
• Build: Implement new features, including coding, peer reviews, unit testing, etc, and discussing the solutions with architects.
• Improve: Help improve the quality by bug fixing, improve the team’s process by recurring retrospectives, and reduce technical debt by refactoring
• Knowledgesharing and communication: Engage in technical discussions, share knowledge, and help the team grow by making sure important insights and solutions are communicated clearly.

We work in C#, .NET, WPF, and use tools like Visual Studio with Copilot and GitHub.

Qualifications

• You have a solid theoretical foundation from a degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or similar
• 5+ years of experience from professional software development organizations
• You write clean, maintainable, and modular code, with a focus on scalability and long-term quality. You are comfortable applying design principles such as SOLID to ensure robust and future-proof solutions.
• You are self-driven, responsible, pragmatic, and fast to learn
• You have good collaboration and communication skills
• It is considered a plus if you have a basic understanding of 3D graphics, geometry processing, and linear algebra
