We are looking for a Senior Network Automation Specialist to join our IT Network Automation Team in Aarhus and help deliver scalable, high-performing solutions across JYSK’s global network.

As a Network Automation Specialist, you will join a focused Network Automation Team of three colleagues in Aarhus. The team is part of the IT Network department, comprising 13 professionals who value collaboration, open communication, and a positive working atmosphere.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
You will design and implement network automation solutions for over 3,300 stores, 40 offices, and 10 distribution centres. Your work will ensure a scalable Infrastructure as a Service, maintain standardised configurations, enforce compliance, and enable rapid rollouts without downtime.

Your daily responsibilities will include programming tasks such as developing new features, fixing issues, and building services from the ground up. You will also support system maintenance as required.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Gathering requirements for projects to ensure accurate and efficient solutions
• Supporting and decommissioning legacy systems
• Monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance
• Standardising the current brownfield network

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has multiple years of experience automating complex multi-vendor networks
• Is highly proficient in Python and Golang
• Can design and implement robust solutions with high uptime requirements
• Works effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Has experience with Cisco and FortiNet equipment or a willingness to learn
• Understands, or is eager to learn, concepts such as Kubernetes, API-first architecture, and observability
