Air Liquide is searching for an enthusiastic, results- driven Environmental & Compliance Manager, located either in Malmö or Horsens. In this exciting position, you will ensure compliance with our Environmental management system and relevant legislation as well as to support our Nordic organization in its sustainable transition.Air Liquide is dedicated to building a sustainable future, a commitment that shapes both our operations and products. As our next Nordic Environmental & Compliance Manager, you will be a part of a diverse team who is supporting the Nordic organization to develop our management system within quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), food safety (ISO 22001), GMP and medical devices.

• You ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, permits, and company standards across our operations.
• You monitor and report key environmental performance indicators and drive improvements.
• You lead audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure preventive/corrective actions are put in place to maintain certifications (ISO 14001).
• You manage regulatory reports and other documentation, with the support of the appropriate parts of the organisation (including Safety DataSheets for example).
• You stay ahead of regulations by tracking changes in environmental law, standards, and industry trends.
• You collaborate with teams across operations, engineering, safety, and legal to integrate compliance into daily activities.
• You train and engage managers and employees on environmental compliance, awareness, and best practices.
• You act as the main contact for environmental authorities
• You contribute to our sustainability plan, by stimulating the organisation and be a source of proposal and initiatives

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. We are also looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar Environmental or Compliance focused position
• An educational background within STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) is desired but not essential
• Ability to work in a digital work environment, and confident using a variety of tools and platforms
• Ideally you have both Swedish and Danish language skills, as well as good knowledge of english
