In Søndersø, around 90 colleagues collaborate to manage the entire development and production process—from initial concept to final product. Here, you will assume leadership of our R&D department, comprising three specialists who work closely every day to develop and enhance our sensor solutions.

As the R&D Manager, you will be tasked with leading and advancing our R&D department, setting the course for the development of both new and existing sensors. You will actively engage in the design, construction, and testing phases, ensuring that ideas are transformed into meticulously developed products ready for immediate production.

You expertly weave together the threads of sales, production, and your team, translating customer technical requirements into tangible solutions. Through professional collaboration, structured management, and clear priorities, you drive project progress and maximize the potential of your people and their skills. Simultaneously, you enjoy the freedom to evolve the department—enhancing processes, tools, and methods of collaboration—positioning us strongly for future developments in sensor technology.

More specifically, you will:

• Lead and prioritize development projects for temperature, humidity, and gas sensors following the gateway model.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions in close collaboration with the sales department and international OEM customers.
• participate in the construction, testing, and product refinement of new sensors.
• Collaborate with production on technical enhancements for existing products.
• Develop the team and optimize workflows, tools, and processes in R&D.

You seamlessly blend technical expertise with managerial oversight.
With an engineering background and robust experience in product development—ideally within an international export company—you excel in steering projects from concept to production. You blend technical expertise with structure and progress, thriving in a collaborative environment where quality and professionalism work in tandem.

As an individual, you are action-oriented, collaborative, and adept at providing oversight. You excel in leading and motivating specialists, maintaining clarity, and ensuring that projects achieve their objectives—both professionally and personally.

Additionally, you possess:

• solid experience in product development and project management.
• documented experience in the design, testing, and development of physical products.
• Experience with client interactions and technical specifications.

It is advantageous, though not mandatory, if you:

• possesses expertise in sensors for temperature, humidity, or gas.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in programming with C and C++.
• I have worked in mechanical design.
