We are currently looking for a Mooring Engineer to join our team and contribute to the de- sign, simulation, and deployment of mooring and anchoring systems for our floating offshore wind foundations. About the job You will be working on the design and analysis of mooring systems across all development phases, from conceptual design to detailed design and final certification. Your primary tasks • • Designing and analyzing mooring systems for various site conditions Performing integrated load simulations and system verification using high-fidelity models • • • • Contributing to mooring and anchor system selection, and supporting offshore transport and installation strategy Collaborating with structural, cable, and installation teams, and other internal stake- holders Contributing to concept maturation and risk reduction for novel technologies (e.g. shared anchoring, synthetic ropes) Supporting stakeholder interactions, project planning, and documentation where needed Your profile At Stiesdal Offshore, we value enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership, and we are looking for a technically strong and self-driven team player who thrives in a dynamic environ- ment and takes ownership from concept to delivery. We are looking for a candidate who has • • • • • • Experience in the design and analysis of mooring systems for floating structures Proficiency with tools such as OrcaFlex, MoorDyn, or similar Skills in scripting and post-processing (e.g. Python or MATLAB) Familiarity with strength and fatigue analysis for mooring systems The flexibility to adapt when priorities change Motivation to move technology from theory into real-world application 1 / 2 It is a plus if you have • • • • Experience with synthetic ropes, taut moorings, or shared anchor systems Installation analysis experience or willingness to learn Understanding of certification and offshore wind project timelines Curiosity about other lifecycle phases and a team-first mindset.
