On behalf of our client, LAPP Denmark, we are seeking a proactive and relationship-oriented Sales Executive to join the Danish sales team in Greve. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined customer portfolio, focusing on building long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities. Focus on this position will be on customer satisfaction, increasing sales of existing customers, and supporting customers during the ordering and delivery process.
Reporting directly to the Country and Sales Manager in Denmark, you will play an active role in supporting and expanding LAPP’s customer base through structured follow-up, collaboration, and value-driven sales initiatives.
Your responsibilities and tasks in the role can be summarized as:
- Develop and implement account plans to grow the business within the assigned district and customer portfolio
- Understand customers’ key needs and requirements
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers
- Ensure that the sales and opportunity funnel is in line with the sales targets
- Act as a supporting and trusted advisor for existing customers
- Identify opportunities to expand share of wallet by introducing additional products or services (cross-selling)
- Negotiate and close deals
- Represent the company at customer events and conferences
- Maintain customer information and data in CRM systems
Motivated sales profile with technical flair
You have a solid background in sales, ideally with 3–7 years of experience and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships. You bring curiosity and a natural technical flair, enabling you to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions. You work confidently with CRM systems and use data to plan and follow up on your activities. Experience with solution-oriented sales and an interest in new products and technologies will help you succeed in this role. Industry knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement. A background in IT or tech-related sales is also considered relevant experience.
To be successful in the position, it is required that you are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and demonstrate professional proficiency in English. Additionally, knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
