Your role & impact
We’re looking to add a Senior Accountant to join our amazing Finance Team and play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and smooth financial operations in an ever-changing SaaS environment. You will report directly to our Finance Manager and work closely with stakeholders across the organization.

The Finance Team at Penneo is responsible for all financial matters at Penneo including financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, control and revenue management across the business.

This role is based in our Copenhagen office in Carlsberg Byen. We love to see our colleagues in the office, but we have a hybrid-set up as we want to foster a healthy work-life balance.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with our other Accountant on day-to-day operations ( processing vendor bills, processing of employee reimbursements, bank reconciliations, accruals).
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax filings, and statutory regulations.
• Assist in controlling balance sheet items and ensuring data is up to date.
• Help prepare monthly reports in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
• Co-manage the year-end closing process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support all departments with financial insights and guidance.
• Contribute to process improvements.

What makes you a great match?
Our next colleague brings a financial background and probably 2+ years of experience from a similar role or from auditing. In addition, we imagine have:

• A structured and highly detail oriented approach to everything you do.
• Proven experience working in Excel and or/Google Sheets.
• Solid experience with e-conomic or similar ERP.
• A proactive attitude and team-player mentality.
• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with OFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act is a plus.
