As we continue our journey to become the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are seeking a Head of Tech (Sr. Engineering Manager) to lead our Platform Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Science teams. These teams and efforts are the foundation for the rest of Lunar’s tech teams, and you will join in the middle of a transformative time, with big impacts on top and bottom line for the business.

About this role
You will be part of the tech leadership team, reporting to Rolf Jensen, VP of Technology. The team currently comprises approximately 15 software engineers working in Aarhus and Copenhagen, who are focused on driving technological advancements and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions within the broader Technology function.

What will you do?

• Lead and inspire 3-4 cross-functional teams, comprising approximately 15 data scientists, data and software engineers, to foster a culture of innovation, empowerment, collaboration, and continuous learning, and nurturing individual and team growth.
• Drive technological advancements and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and other business teams.
• Ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions and implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Leadership/Enablement: Comfortable collaboratively enabling strong ICs and architects to shape direction and strategy, fostering a high-performing and empowered team.
• Strong background in software engineering: and technical proficiency, coupled with hands-on experience in leading and successfully guiding complex technical projects to impactful delivery.
