Site Manager – International Manufacturing Company
Would you like to lead a well-performing production site in an international industrial group and take it to the next level in terms of efficiency, culture, and performance?
Our client is a global leader in advanced manufacturing with a strong presence in Denmark. The company operates several production sites across the Nordic region and continues to invest significantly in technology, sustainability, and automation.

Efficiency, Automation, and Sustainability

As Site Manager, you will have full operational and strategic responsibility for a large, complex production site with around 185 employees, including an experienced leadership team. The site plays a key role within the group and is recognized as a first mover in several areas.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement, automation projects, and cultural development. You will report to the regional leadership and be part of a Nordic management team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the region.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop the site leadership team to drive performance, efficiency, and engagement.
• Identify, specify and implement automation and new technology projects
• Manage site budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX investments in close collaboration with key functions.
• Maintain constructive relations with employee representatives, trade unions, and local stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and collaborative site culture aligned with company values.

Success in this position requires the ability to balance strategic focus with hands-on operational leadership, engaging effectively with both senior management and employees at all levels.

Analytical, solution-oriented and a can-do attitude

You have a relevant educational background, preferably a master’s degree in engineering or a degree in management or business administration. You have solid experience as the overall leader of a production site within an international company, accustomed to working in a complex matrix organization.

You have experience from the process industry or other high-volume production environments, combined with a solid understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices, and know how to effectively drive efficiency and performance in a production setting.

As a leader, you are motivational and result-oriented, capable of balancing strategic priorities with hands-on operational leadership. You communicate clearly across all levels, build trust, and foster engagement. You are analytic and structured by nature, and possess a strong commercial understanding, enabling you to understand the business as a whole.

You speak and write Danish and English fluently and are able to manage a leadership role that occasionally requires irregular working hours in a 5-shift production environment.
