To strengthen the presence across Scandinavia, NGI is now looking for an Area Sales Manager – a commercially driven and technically skilled professional who thrives in building strong customer relationships and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced international environment.

Your Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

  • Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for NGI DriveTech within your market, ensuring both growth and customer satisfaction,
  • Driving market growth by developing new customer relationships and expanding existing ones,
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from Lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing, and follow-up,
  • Activating new customers and supporting NGI’s goal to double the Scandinavian customer base within the next year,
  • Presenting DriveTech’s products and solutions with strong technical insight and commercial impact,
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and reselling, ensuring long-term customer partnership,
  • Cooperating closely with internal teams in Sales Support and Application Engineering,
  • Maintaining structured use of CRM tools and contributing to data-driven decision-making,
  • Participating in fairs, customer visits, and industry events (approx. 40+ travel days per year).

You have a technical or commercial education, preferably a bachelor’s degree in technology management, Marine Engineering, or a similar field, combined with 3–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, ideally within mechanical or automation industries.

You possess strong technical understanding of systems such as conveyor belts, drum motors, and control systems, enabling you to match complex customer needs with effective solutions. Your ability to work systematically, maintain structure, and plan effectively ensures that you meet ambitious sales goals while supporting team collaboration.

You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken, and comfortable using modern IT tools, including MS Office and CRM systems (Microsoft 365 or similar).

You are customer-focused, results-oriented, and self-driven. You take pride in turning opportunities into concrete sales results and enjoy operating independently while being part of a supportive, ambitious team. With a natural ability to build trust and long-term relationships, you communicate clearly and credibly.

You are persuasive, proactive, and structured in your approach to work, thriving in an environment where initiative and accountability are valued.
