Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for technical problem-solving and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Specialist to further strengthen our production team.

In this role, you will apply your expertise in mechanical systems, pressure systems, and gas technologies to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. You will play a key role in systematizing maintenance routines to improve reliability and uptime, developing and refining procedures that enhance safety and performance. You will be leading technical projects from initial concept through to full implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First Mindset: Drive a proactive safety culture by identifying risks early, ensuring compliance with standards, and championing a “zero compromise” approach to safety in all engineering activities.

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage process engineering aspects of renewable fuel projects, including new technology implementation and optimization of existing processes. This includes taking ownership of small to medium-sized projects and providing workstream leadership within larger, more complex initiatives.

• Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth process engineering and operations knowledge to support project development, execution, and troubleshooting. Assess designs, perform tests, and validate equipment performance.

• Technical Problem Solving: Lead and participate in the resolution of complex engineering challenges, including conflicting design requirements, material selection, and operational issues.

• Cost-Effectiveness and Best Practices: Champion cost-effective solutions and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Recommend changes and updates to existing processes to improve efficiency, optimize performance, and deliver maximum value to our customers.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status effectively to stakeholders.

• Collaboration and Coordination: Work effectively with internal teams and external partners (technology providers, contractors, consultants) throughout all project phases. This includes coordinating project activities, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Technical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical or production support role, ideally within manufacturing or process engineering

• A proactive safety mindset — you don’t just follow procedures; you help shape and improve them

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, automation equipment, and pressure-related systems, with working knowledge of gas systems considered a strong advantage

• Solid technical understanding of pneumatics, mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and industrial communication systems​

• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, methodical approach to technical challenges

• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern manufacturing technologies
