Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will take on a central technical decision making role, guiding the development of hydraulic and fuel injection systems for our future engine platforms. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the technical lead in development projects focused on hydraulic systems and fuel injection technologies.
- Driving development activities within the line organization and supporting formal cross-functional projects in collaboration with colleagues across R&D and Engineering.
- With direct contact to 2-stroke management supporting technical and strategic decision-making with analysis and investigations.
- Sharing your expertise and insights proactively, both within your immediate team and with stakeholders across the wider organization, to foster continuous learning and innovation and become the to-go person within the team for technical matters.
Your Background and Qualifications
We believe you will thrive in this role if you bring:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Hydraulics, Mechatronics, Combustion Engines) and at least 5 years of professional experience in related fields.
- A strong track record of leading complex technical projects, preferably within the combustion engine or the maritime sector. Experience in R&D environments is a distinct advantage.
- International collaboration experience, ideally involving partners in China, South Korea, and/or Japan.
- Skilled in communicating professionally within all layers of a modern organization, including high level management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
About the Team:
You will join the Hydraulics and Injection Development function area, which consists of five departments and around 50 engineers, forming part of Everllence’s two-stroke R&D division.
This function area is responsible for developing and testing fuel injection and admission concepts, as well as hydraulic actuation solutions for both on-engine and off-engine mechatronic systems.
