People Executive ApS
Finance & Operations Manager
– with responsibility for strengthening the corporate platform in a fast-growing company
Are you motivated by bringing structure, transparency, and execution power to an ambitious and entrepreneurial organisation? Can you balance strategic collaboration with the CEO with hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations? Do you thrive in a role where your key mission is to professionalise and support the business across finance, HR, compliance, and digitalisation – while enabling data-driven decision-making? If so, you might be the Finance & Operations Manager we are seeking for Hvacon Marine Systems based at the headquarters in Frederikssund - a fast-growing company partly owned by Capidea.
Strengthening the backbone of a company in transformation through close collaboration with the CEO and leadership team in Denmark
Hvacon Marine Systems is at a pivotal moment in its growth journey, evolving from a dynamic entrepreneurial setup towards a future-ready operating model. As Finance & Operations Manager, you’ll report directly to the Group CEO – who is based in the US – and take on a newly established role designed to build scalable structures, streamline administrative functions, and drive operational excellence across finance, HR, compliance, and IT. You’ll act as a key sparring partner to the CEO and management team, translating strategic ambitions into efficient workflows and actionable insights – while ensuring the business is equipped to grow sustainably and professionally. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading all financial operations across HMS Companies, including budgeting, reporting, controlling, and performance management
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and analysis for each business unit
- Identifying opportunities for automation and digitalisation across finance and administration
- Acting as the primary point of contact for auditors, financial partners, and insurance providers
- Overseeing HR processes and shaping internal policies and procedures
- Supporting ESG reporting, internal compliance, ISO standards and financial risk management
- Acting as key advisor and sparring partner to the CEO and management team – contributing to strategy execution and operational excellence
You’ll be joining a company where entrepreneurial drive and professionalism go hand in hand. The culture is informal, international, and fast-paced – and you’ll be given the trust, autonomy, and influence to shape not only your role, but also how the organisation evolves and grows. With close access to decision-makers and a flat hierarchy, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.
Experienced professional with strong financial insight and a hands-on mindset
To succeed in this role, you combine financial acumen with operational drive. You have a solid background in finance, controlling and possibly HR, ideally from an international setup, and you are used to working closely with senior management on both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution. Perhaps you’ve held a similar corporate administration leadership role – or you’re currently in a finance position with broader responsibilities and are ready to step into a more central role. What matters most is your ability to structure, prioritise, and support – and your drive to help the organisation succeed as a whole.
You are analytical, proactive, and pragmatic. You know how to create clarity from complexity and enjoy building systems and processes that support growth and scalability. As a leader, you’re good at bringing people along and creating buy-in through collaboration, communication, and clarity of direction. You may have held direct leadership responsibility – or built strong influence through cross-functional collaboration and natural authority. Either way, it’s your nature to take ownership, create structure, and help others succeed. You communicate clearly and confidently – and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo or ask the right questions. You speak and write both Danish and English fluently and are comfortable operating in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
