Now, we’re looking for a Solution Partnership Manager – Defence to lead the development and management of GomSpace’s ecosystem of strategic suppliers, ensuring they deliver measurable value across our national and defence solution programmes.
Your Role
You’ll play a central role in shaping GomSpace’s ecosystem of strategic solution suppliers — from launch providers to ground operators, analytics software vendors, and other technical partners who make our end-to-end solutions possible. You will cultivate strategic collaboration and readiness, ensuring our partner capabilities are aligned with GomSpace’s solution roadmap and deliver measurable value.
You will collaborate closely with Solution Managers, Programme Managers, and internal teams to integrate partner contributions into solution delivery. You’ll also represent GomSpace externally, negotiating agreements, leading readiness processes, and positioning the company as a trusted, collaborative prime integrator.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining GomSpace’s ecosystem of strategic suppliers for solution delivery (launch, ground, analytics, insurance, etc.).
• Driving alignment between supplier capabilities and GomSpace’s long-term solution strategy.
• Leading the definition of joint readiness and integration processes with suppliers to ensure delivery quality and predictability.
• Coordinating supplier participation in solution design, proposal development, and programme delivery.
• Representing GomSpace in relevant supplier and industry forums, positioning the company as a trusted and collaborative partner.
Success and Key Results
Your success will be defined by the robustness and readiness of GomSpace’s strategic supplier ecosystem.
Short Term:
• Establish an operational framework for managing GomSpace’s strategic supplier ecosystem.
• Onboard and formalize collaboration with 3–5 key suppliers across core capability domains.
• Ensure measurable partner engagement and contribution to solution readiness.
Long Term:
• Maintain a robust and trusted supplier ecosystem supporting multiple national solution programmes.
• Achieve measurable supplier contribution to solution readiness, quality, and delivery performance.
• Institutionalize partner management and supplier collaboration practices across Business Units.
What You Bring
You’re strategic, collaborative, and fluent at turning partnerships into operational impact. You thrive in complex, international environments and can align multiple stakeholders with diverse priorities. You likely have:
• MSc or BSc in Engineering, Business, International Relations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in partnership management, strategic sourcing, or supplier relationship management within space, aerospace, defence, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience building and managing technical supplier ecosystems and translating strategic objectives into structured collaboration frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of the satellite value chain (launch, ground, payload, analytics).

The role is ideally based at our headquarters in Aalborg, Denmark, where you’ll collaborate closely with our other teams. Luxembourg or France can also be agreed upon. Salary and start date will be individually negotiated.
