As part of our exciting next chapter, we’re creating a brand-new Group Financial Controller role — a key position at the heart of our expanding financial organization.

This is your chance to step in and shape how we do finance across borders. You’ll be building the foundation for strong governance, smooth operations, and top-tier reporting — while helping us scale smartly and sustainably.

About the role
As our new Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role at the heart of our finance organization — making sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and in top gear across all our entities and markets.

You’ll be the go-to person for solid governance, compliance, and operational excellence, while helping us continuously improve and digitalize our financial setup. In short, you’ll make sure our numbers are not only right — but smart.

Reporting directly to our CFO, you’ll act as a trusted sparring partner for both AutoProff’s leadership team and our owners at AutoScout24 GmbH. You’ll ensure alignment with group policies, support with reporting, and help push forward key initiatives around ERP optimization and financial digitalization.

What you’ll be doing

• Be the main link to our owners at AutoScout24 GmbH — making sure we’re in sync with their accounting policies and processes.

• Own and optimize core financial workflows, driving best practices across countries and entities.

• Lead the digitalization of our ERP and finance tools, boosting efficiency, transparency, and scalability.

• Manage transfer pricing, year-end close, and support external audits.

• Keep our intercompany reconciliations and cash flow reporting on point across the group.

• Actively lead the monthly closing process, including preparation, review, and group-level financial reporting

• Ensure new products, entities, and business models are fully compliant with accounting and legal standards.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role — maybe as an auditor, financial controller, or similar.

• A solid understanding of global accounting standards incl. local GAAP vs IFRS

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or something closely related.

• Proven track record in statutory reporting, consolidation, and financial governance.

• An analytical mind that loves solving problems — practically and efficiently.

• You’re fluent in MS Office and modern ERP systems (bonus points for Workday Finance).

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-minded approach.
