Organization
The Supply Chain Management team is organized within our Strategy and Commercial Development Department. As Head of Supply Chain Management and Operations Planning, you will refer to the Vice President of Strategy & Commercial Development.

Supply Chain consists of 10 experienced Planners, Purchasers and Compliance Partners. The team is responsible for all aspects of production planning, procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationship management, as well as ensuring the right compliance level across our supply chain.

Your role
You will have overall leadership responsibility for the Supply Chain Team, covering all planning and procurement activities. You will be a key member of the management team, setting direction and enabling data-driven decision-making across the entire company. Your focus will be on integrating stringent methodology and strategic thinking into daily operations, fostering scalability and process robustness to handle increased complexity, and leveraging synergies with other functions across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading, developing, and motivating your team with a focus on performance, well-being, and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting your employees by setting direction, driving decision-making, leading ongoing prioritization, and solving ad-hoc issues.
  • Ensuring constant and effective alignment of customer demand, our internal production and the supplier network. Both for short-term planning of procurement and production as well as long-term planning of capacity according to expected customer demand.
  • Building a forward-looking, analytical Supply Chain Management organization to enable that analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making are at the core.
  • Developing and implementing processes that foster scalability, robustness and efficiency, allowing the company to handle growing complexity in our supply chain.
  • Ensuring that the right competencies are available and utilized efficiently across ongoing initiatives as well as local and company projects.
  • Facilitating the relationship with our partners on topics related to supply chain management, incl. daily and weekly planning.
  • Ensuring ongoing improvements and high compliance in all processes.

  • You ensure that strategy is translated into concrete results, consistently follow up on goals and deliverables, and adjust direction when deviations occur.
  • You make decisions with confidence, communicate priorities clearly, and build trust around your leadership style.

About you
You bring proven leadership, strong supply chain knowledge, and advanced analytical capabilities. You leverage data for decisions, demonstrate entrepreneurship and excel at creating effective processes. Experience in the life science industry is a plus.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant supply chain expertise, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationship management in regulated industries.
  • An analytical and data-driven mindset, leveraging tools and methodologies to enable automation, forecasting, and effective decision-making.
  • Strong process development skills, capable of designing and implementing scalable, robust workflows that support growth and operational excellence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners.
