Seeking Experienced Group Financial Controller to Join Matas Group

Are you team-oriented, structured, and do you have an analytical approach with an eye for detail? Are you motivated by optimizing processes and controls, and do you take pride in delivering thorough reports?

In this role, you will be part of a small Group Controller team of 5 and a larger Group Finance department with more than 30 colleagues at the head office in Allerød.

Your responsibilities as Group Financial Controller include:

• Ensure fair, correct and timely accounting data in accordance with the Group's accounting policies, including Group elimination and consolidation.
• Participate in the Group closing process including assisting in the preparation of the external Group Quarterly Interim and Annual Financial Reports.
• Take joint responsibility for continuously automating and optimizing our Group processes, e.g. procedures related to financial controlling and monthly reporting.
• Lead/participate in cross-functional projects or initiatives to ensure financial excellence.
• Provide technical accounting advice to the business and prepare technical accounting supporting memos.
• Deliver key inputs and analysis for internal/external reporting and decision-making purposes and make recommendations to senior management based on your analysis.
• Review basis for joint taxation and ensure/prepare Transfer Pricing documentation.
• Handle ongoing ad hoc tasks including mergers and acquisitions.

Your profile:

• Diploma or master in auditing, accounting or similar relevant education.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar position and preferably as a former Auditor.
• Ability to maintain an overview of the Group's complexity at a high level, while paying attention to details.
