Your responsibilities

• Develop next-generation software solutions for ABB’s measurement products and systems.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing and verification.
• Work mainly in C++, while working with additional languages where relevant.
• Develop software for systems based on real-time operating systems used in industrial applications.
• Collaborate closely with experienced and dedicated colleagues in an agile and supportive team environment.
• Take ownership of your tasks and contribute with both technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.
• Work in an international setting with strong opportunities for skills development, knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development for industrial or embedded applications.
• Strong skills in C/C++ and/or Java familiarity with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio is a plus.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., Windows Embedded Compact, VxWorks) is advantageous.
• Comfortable working across all stages of the development process, including testing, debugging, documentation and code review.
• Structured, service-minded and solution-oriented, with strong personal initiative and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Open to new ideas, eager to learn and enthusiastic about analyzing, improving and collaborating within a team.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
