The Head of Public Affairs in Denmark will be responsible for leading Novartis’ external engagement with policy makers and government decision makers to ensure a sustainable operating environment that supports patient access to innovative medicines.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the external policy environment in Denmark on high priority topics
- Build and maintaining strong relationships with policy makers and stakeholders
- Represent Public Affairs as part of the Danish Country Leadership Team
- Monitor emerging policy and regulatory trends relevant to Denmark
- Drive thought leadership for Novartis in Denmark on commercial and policy priorities
- Provide analysis on political trends on relevant portfolio areas for senior management
- Represent Novartis across key industry and trade associations
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working within the Danish Government
- Exceptional understanding of the Danish legislative environment
- Demonstrated experience in crisis and issues management
- Proven track record of providing forward-thinking analysis on geopolitics
- Proven track record of delivering strategic advocacy campaigns on complex issues
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with key external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability of addressing complex regulatory, policy or access priorities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, policy, health economics or business.
