About us
We are looking for a senior profile to join our Group Finance Sustainability Reporting team. As part of this specialised unit, you will be instrumental in driving the implementation of sustainability reporting across Danske Bank Group, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high quality, transparent, and impactful reporting aligned with our sustainability goals.

Together, we work on visionary projects that shape the way sustainability reporting is integrated into the Group’s financial framework, ensuring compliance and facilitating positive change.

About the role
You will play a key role in interpreting and practically implementing sustainability reporting requirements, with a particular focus on CSRD and ESRS. Your work will directly shape how we develop robust, scalable, and auditable reporting processes that deliver results in practice, not just on paper.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading or contributing to the review and assurance-readiness of sustainability disclosures in the Annual Report and other regulatory filings.
• Translating complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions that support a strong control and reporting environment.
• Supporting the financial materiality assessment and advising on emerging ESG topics.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Group Finance, Risk, Legal, and business units to ensure consistent and compliant reporting practices.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with expertise, collaboration skills and a strong motivation to contribute to the evolving field of sustainability reporting. You should be a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a team environment and is motivated by the opportunity to manage complex challenges with practical solutions. A strong drive to explore and co-create solutions with stakeholders is essential. The ideal candidate has:

• Practical experience with CSRD/ESRS implementation and a solid understanding of the practical implications of the evolving EU sustainability landscape.
• A strong background in sustainability assurance and/or financial audit, accounting, ideally with 3 - 5+ years of experience from a Big 4 firm or a listed company.
• Analytical strength and the ability to assess complex regulatory texts and translate them into actionable insights.
• Highly developed collaboration abilities, solid skills in managing stakeholders and a strong drive to explore, analyse, and co-create solutions to complex challenges in diverse teams.
