Be a part of an ambitious strategic journey
You will become part of our Strategy department. You will report to the Senior Director of Strategy and work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer, acting as a strategic sparring partner and member of the CCO leadership team.
In addition to this position as Strategy Partner, the Strategy function consists of three other Strategy Partners, each representing their respective business area Energy, Telco and Digitalization & Technology. Strategy also includes a Corporate Strategy team and Executive Office, with which you will collaborate closely.
Lead strategic initiatives
As Strategy Partner you will be the anchor for our commercial strategic roadmap and drive the translation of our One27 strategy into strong commercial execution. You will work both on long-term strategic bets for our customer business and on short-term priorities to strengthen commercial performance.
The Commercial business area is the largest in Norlys. The agenda is broad and will require establishing a joint plan to set direction and structure for the strategic work. This also means the role is expected to involve a high level of complexity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a leadership member in Strategy and co-lead cross-company strategic initiatives.
- Deliver strategic support to our CCO and the commercial leadership team.
- Own and drive the strategy execution agenda and strategic roadmap for the business areas.
- Deliver strategic projects across sales, marketing, pricing, customer experience and channels.
- Support development of our commercial operating model and commercial excellence capabilities.
- Prepare materials for executive decision-making and commercial steering.
Engage stakeholders and drive commercial strategy
We expect you to have strong stakeholder management skills, solid business acumen, and informal leadership capabilities. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and know how to balance structure with a holistic perspective. Your ability to transform commercial insights and data into actionable strategic recommendations will be key to your success. You approach your tasks with a positive, proactive attitude, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results independently.
Furthermore, we expect:
- A Master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field
- Solid experience from management consulting or corporate strategy – ideally with exposure to commercial strategy, sales, marketing, or customer experience
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Confident communication skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders in a large organization
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Danish is considered an advantage).
