AML Expert – Data & Business Analysis

Are you passionate about risk management, operational efficiency, and preventing financial crime? We’re looking for an AML Expert with strong analytical and business understanding to help strengthen Entercard’s AML and Sanctions frameworks and contribute to a robust, compliant, and data-driven risk culture.

Your role at Entercard
As an AML Expert, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our AML and Sanctions framework. You will combine deep subject-matter knowledge with hands-on analytical work and collaborate closely with business, compliance, and technology functions. Your expertise will directly support Entercard’s ability to prevent financial crime and meet regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will strengthen Entercard’s AML and Sanctions framework by improving policies, processes, and documentation—particularly within data analysis, reporting, transaction monitoring, and customer behavior. You will analyze transactional and behavioral data to identify risks and trends, transforming insights into clear reporting and visualisations that support decision-making.

You will contribute to the design, validation, and optimisation of AML models, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and reflect our risk appetite. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, you will translate AML needs into practical system enhancements and efficient workflows, collaborating closely with technical stakeholders.

Your strengths
Staying updated on regulatory developments and ensuring relevant changes are implemented is essential to the role. You will help maintain strong controls through risk assessments and continuous improvements. You will also support learning and awareness by providing training within your field and working cross-functionally to advance strategic initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field

• 7+ years’ experience in AML/Sanctions/Fraud, including transaction monitoring and behavior analytics

• Strong understanding of both business and system processes; knowledge of financial crime prevention is a plus

• Good knowledge of AI/ML, regulatory reporting, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python)

• Certifications such as CAMS or ICA Diplomas are an advantage

• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts Proven ability to work independently and drive improvements in a fast-paced environment
