Strengthen telco solution architecture teams
As a Solution architect in the Telco Platform team, you will join an established team of skilled and capable Solution Architects with decades of BSS/OSS experience. The team is responsible for owning and driving the solutions to meet the customer and business requirements towards the Telco Platforms.
You will also collaborate with Enterprise Architects to shape the architectural vision for the organization. You will be required to work individually on specific solutions, while ensuring cross team and program collaboration.
You have the required skills to ensure the solutions are within the chosen architecture framework and are pragmatic, robust, scalable, secure and are designed with a cost-efficient mindset.
On a technical level you have experience across several domains and technologies in the BSS/OSS area and have a proven track record of designing and delivering solution designs. And also have experience of integrations towards the Engagement, Network and Data Engineering and AI areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and document solution architecture in the Telco platform in both enterprise wide and specific telco solutions.
- Represent Telco solutions and participate in the analysis of requirements from commercial teams.
- Document solution designs and ensure that the designs are clearly communicated to the DevOps teams.
- Together with the rest of the team take responsibility for the continuous professional development of the team and associated governance tasks like documentation, ways of working etc..
Competences and requirements
- Hold relevant MSc degree within data engineering, computer science or other technical IT areas.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience as a solution architect, lead developer, technical project manager or similar have a solid technical understanding of Telco solutions, software and data architecture, AI/automation, networks and security
- Experience with architecture methodologies and practices such as Microservices, DDD, Event Driven, API-led architecture etc..
- Experience with working in an Agile based delivery model.
- Relevant architecture certifications such as TM Forum, TOGAF or Zachman Framework.
- A solid business understanding and can translate strategic goals and processes into technical solutions.
- Technical insight into infrastructure, applications and data - and preferably experience with enterprise architecture.
- The ability to communicate clearly with both business/commercial stakeholders and technical specialists.
- A strategic mindset where you see the big picture and think long-term.
- Strong soft skills where you can negotiate, find compromises and be a constructive sparring partner.
- A natural ability to build relationships and be service minded towards colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- A positive approach to change and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative organization.
