About The Role
Help Power the Financial Backbone of a Social Impact Startup!

We’re looking for a dedicated Volunteer Senior Accountant who knows the Danish accounting landscape and wants to use their expertise to support a company building meaningful, positive impact in the world. We’re seeking someone who brings both expertise and ownership — a person with a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and responsiveness.

In this role, your work truly matters. You will be the backbone of our financial clarity and compliance, and the team will rely on your professionalism to keep us moving forward with confidence.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll play a key role in shaping our financial foundation by:

This role has real influence as your work will directly impact the transparency, stability, and growth of the organisation.

• Providing periodic financial overviews and insights that help guide key decisions

• Collaborating with leadership to design efficient, scalable accounting processes

• Ensuring we meet all Danish tax and regulatory requirements with confidence

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records in Billy.dk
• Preparing and maintaining documentation for our annual financial report

*This UNPAID opportunity is FULLY REMOTE, flexible and part-time.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience with Billy.dk or a willingness to learn it

Your attention, your consistency, and your expertise will directly shape how we grow. This is a place where your contribution will be seen, valued, and felt.

• A genuine interest in contributing to a startup with a real social impact mission

• The ability to work independently and communicate clearly(English required; Danish preferred)

• Experience preparing annual reports for tax purposes

• Solid understanding of Danish tax regulations and accounting standards
