IT Project Manager – Global IT Programs & Projects

We’re now looking for two IT Project Managers to join our global IT team.

  • One role will focus on end-to-end project management, leading medium to large-scale initiatives.
  • The second role will focus on portfolio delivery, ensuring visibility, alignment, and momentum across our global project landscape.

Both positions are 12-month maternity covers, offering the chance to make a real impact on strategic initiatives across WSA.

The Team
You will be part of the Global IT Programs & Projects team, responsible for leading strategic and business-critical IT initiatives across WSA. We work closely with business functions, external partners, and global/local stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that enable growth, efficiency, and innovation.

What you will do
As an IT Project Manager, you will lead medium to large-scale IT projects globally, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with global and local stakeholders to define project mission, scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams and collaborating with external vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Managing the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on deployment and delivery excellence.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring transparency and communication across stakeholders.
  • Leading Steering Committee meetings with senior stakeholders and providing clear, data-driven updates on project progress.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across regions and functions to support alignment and successful execution.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of project artifacts and adherence to internal processes and standards.
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project, ensuring that teams stay aligned, motivated, and focused on outcomes.

What you bring
We imagine that you hold a university degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, and bring 8–11 years of relevant project management experience in an international environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects – IT background will be an advantage.
  • Solid track record working with global teams and external vendors.
  • Experience with business transformation projects is an advantage.
  • Strong capability to manage scope, resources, timelines, risks, and budget.
  • Technical certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Structured, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled at managing senior level stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
