We are seeking a motivated and analytically minded Student Assistant to support our Product team. You will play a key role in helping us understand the evolving of digital payments landscape and its different railsby conducting structured market research, analyzing competitors, product data analysis, and transforming insights into actionable recommendations. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about fintech, global payments, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Research
• Monitor trends in the global payments ecosystem, including regulatory updates, market shifts, and emerging technologies.
• Conduct research on regional payment methods, customer needs, and industry dynamics.
• Map ecosystem players (PSPs, banks, compliance providers, FX platforms, etc.) and identify opportunities for product innovation.
• Competitor Analysis
• Track and evaluate competitor offerings, features, pricing structures, settlement models, and positioning.
• Build and maintain competitor comparison frameworks and dashboards.
• Provide concise summaries and insight reports to the Product team to support roadmap and strategy decisions.
• Data & Insight Support
• Product data analysis - collect and analyse data to use in continuous product improvements such as product performance monitoring, customers’ feedback, inquiries and suggestions, etc.
• Collect and structure quantitative and qualitative data to support product discovery and prioritization.
• Assist in preparing internal presentations, reports, and updates for Product, Sales, and Leadership.
• Support ad-hoc product research tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data, or related).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information and spot patterns.
• Interest in fintech, payments, or financial services—prior exposure is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable working with data from multiple sources and summarizing findings clearly.
• Independent, proactive, and curious, with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to present insights effectively.
