The Graduate Program
Our Graduate Program stands out for its flexibility and tailored approach, ensuring that your graduate journey is personalized to your ambitions and skills. It is a 2-year program with 3 rotations: all focused on giving you hands-on experience and insights into how technology shapes and influences energy trading in MFT Energy. From day one, you’ll collaborate with experts, work on impactful projects, and be given autonomy to make a difference.

The Technology Track
In the technology track, you’ll help shape the platforms and systems that fuel every trade we make. We use data and tech to drive every decision and every trade.
As a Technology Graduate, you will experience:
- Collaborative Development: We build in close collaboration with our users. You will work side-by-side with the business, using agile ways of working and fast feedback-loops to build smart solutions that deliver real value.
- Focus on Innovation and Technical Excellence: We’re serious about clean code and staying ahead of tech trends. We encourage our developers to test new technologies, methods, and frameworks that could give MFT Energy an edge in the market. Our current tech stack is focused on C#, REACT, MSSQL, Python, Rust, and TypeScript.
- Learning-driven culture: We’re committed to your growth, both personal and professional. Our culture is focused on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, making sure we are always improving. You will have experienced and supportive colleagues to mentor and guide you.
- Turn complex data into usable insights: Be part of developing tools that translate billions of data points into actionable knowledge, fueling the decisions behind every trade.
By the end of the program, you’ll be well-prepared to build and scale the technologies and data platforms that keep MFT Energy competitive.
About you
You’re passionate about data and technology – not just the code itself, but how it can solve real problems and create meaningful impact. You’re curious by nature, eager to learn, and motivated by the idea of becoming an expert in your field. You're self-driven and take ownership of your own development. You actively seek opportunities to grow, challenge yourself, and shape your career path. You thrive when given responsibility, and you’re excited about working closely with others to create solutions that push the business forward. You have a proactive communication approach when collaborating with stakeholders and understand that unity is the key to success.
Moreover, you:
- Have completed a Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field in 2025 or 2026
- Might have experience with software development and contributing to open-source projects
- Are fluent in English, both spoken and written, as it is our corporate language
