As part of this growth, our Instrumentation Sales team is expanding and seeking an ambitious technical Product Manager with a background in engineering, physics, or a related technical field to join Weibel. About the position
As a Product Manager at Weibel, you will help shape our market and product strategy for Instrumentation Radars. You will work closely with our Sales team, advise on technical capabilities, collaborate with Research and Development to ensure our solutions meet customer needs, and play a key role in implementing Weibel’s Market-In approach through market plans, strategies, and product roadmaps.
The primary responsibility and work tasks include:
- Market and Product Strategy
- Develop sales strategies and product roadmaps for the instrumentation market
- Conduct market, product, and competitor research and analysis
- Plan marketing activities, map relevant market segments, and define success criteria for target segments
- Drive business development initiatives to promote Weibel solutions.
- Product Line Management
- Manage product lifecycle, gate keep non-standard specifications, coordinate stakeholder management and maintain pricing strategies
- Lead product management activities in development and delivery programs.
- Technical Pre-Sales Support
- Support sales as the technical product specialist
- Collaborate with Operations on product sales forecasting to align capacity with market needs
- Offer technical guidance and training to the Sales Team
- Review technical product requirements during tendering.
The workplace will be in our headquarters in Allerød, Copenhagen.
Some travel should be expected (up to 40 days per year).
About our new colleague
You have a solid technical background and quickly grasp complex products, while actively learning about market segments, customers, competitors, and trends. Your strategic mindset pairs with practical execution, and your strong drive and energy helps you achieve goals through others.
Your background should include:
- A university degree in engineering (preferably electronics, software or data processing)
- Experience from development, system engineering or product management of technical systems
- Understanding of radars – or a similar field with high frequency electronics is an advantage
- A strong relationship builder, communicator, and negotiator
- Excellent in motivating colleagues and creating momentum through others
- You excel at managing customer relationships and communicate assertively to ensure both internal goals and customer expectations are met.
- English at negotiation level both spoken and written.

Your new team
Our instrumentation sales team is made up of Key Account Directors, Business Development Directors, Product Managers, Bid Managers, and Marketing. Our team members bring a wide range of educational backgrounds and cultural perspectives, with experience in the defense radar industry ranging from just a few years to several decades. The team is responsible for the entire sales process of Weibel’s instrumentation radar business in a field where Weibel is the market leader. Our work requires collaboration with all parts of the company to ensure our products match our customers’ expectations, are competitive, and delivered on time.
