About the department
Our Anti-bribery, Corruption & Tax Evasion team is part of 1st Line Financial Crime, playing a critical role in assessing risks across Danske Bank. We work closely with various areas of the business to ensure compliance and integrity in all operations. The team is based primarily in Copenhagen, where six of our eight members collaborate to drive impactful changes.

Your role and responsibilities
As a Tax Evasion Prevention Intern, you will play a part in ensuring Danske Bank’s compliance efforts are robust and effective. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to gain in-depth knowledge of tax law and contribute to essential projects.

• Implement controls for the prevention of the facilitation of tax evasion together with relevant areas in the business
• Assist the Tax Evasion team in providing specialist advice in cases with unusual behaviour regarding tax evasion
• Assist with risk assessments of products, services, processes, customers, and third parties concerning tax evasion
• Support the implementation of policies and procedures relating to anti-tax evasion

About you
We are looking for a driven and open-minded individual with a willingness to learn and grow within the field of tax prevention. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and gain valuable insights into Danish tax law, as well as tax law in all market areas where Danske Bank is represented.

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s programme in Taxation at Københavns Professionshøjskole or equivalent
• Available for an internship from February 2026 to June 2026
• As English is the working language, professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Willing to learn and eager to learn
