Test automation engineer

As a Test and Compliance Engineer in our RiNA team at Eurowind Energy, you will play a key role in developing robust and reliable solutions. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, driving automation, and maintaining compliance across platforms - helping us deliver software that supports a sustainable future.

Your role
As a Test and Compliance Engineer in EWE, you will play a key role in ensuring software quality and reliability. You will define test strategies, drive automation, and maintain compliance across platforms, contributing to robust and efficient solutions throughout the development process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for testing parts of:
• Beckhoff controller software
• Backend server software
• Frontend software
• Setting the overall test strategy for software development
• Configuring and Maintaining Test automation frameworks
• Test descriptions and test procedures

Tasks

• Set the strategy for testing software on multiple platforms
• Develop test documentation
• Owner of the automatic test environment

Your profile
You bring to the table an engineering degree within software development, complemented by more than three years of experience in software testing. You are familiar with a wide range of test techniques and approaches such as:

• Python/pytest
• Git source control
• Test case management
• API and REST based API
• SQL databases or others
• SCRUM
• Jira / Confluence
• Ensure visual appeal aligns with UI design
